About UsThe German Shepherd Dog Club of Greater Eugene, was established in 1972 to promote the total German Shepherd. Our philosophy has been the total dog and it great versatility; not only in conformation, but in performance such as obedience and rally, nose work, herding, barn hunt, agility; search and rescue, therapy and service dogs and family companion.We conduct activities such as our annual specialties in July; all breed obedience and rally trials in March; All breed obedience/rally and all Breed sweepstakes along with CGC testing at our B-OB GSD Match in September; schooling matches in the spring and fall; hosting GSDC of America Temperament test and picnic in August or September; in addition to hosting the Northwest GSDCA futurity and maturity. We also conduct a Meet the Breed at the Rose City Cluster in January.In additional, we offer an occasional education program to our member and guests.
